Lee's Summit, Missouri - Timothy C. Dotson, 77, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.
He was born June 18, 1944, the son of Ben L. Dotson and Gloria L. Dotson. Tim graduated from Ruskin High School in 1962. He worked as a Materials Manager at Sanofi Aventis (the former Marion Labs) in Kansas City for 30 years until his retirement in 2007.
He is survived by his sons Laine & wife Lisa, Scott & wife Tina and grandchildren Jared, Brett, Courtney, Brooke, Rachel, Victoria, Bridget and Emily.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3pm, Thursday, October 7 at the Christ the King Church, 8510 Wornall Road, KCMO, 64114. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.

Think of Tim often.
We worked together at all five companies which started out as Marion Laboratories. He was a good guy, and I miss him.

My deepest condolences to Tim's family.
Tim was my boss at Marion Labs later Aventis) for over 10 years. Not only was he a good boss, but became a good friend. We had many great moments together in business and recreationally, and I will never forget him, and will miss him.
