Mr. Ritz was my baseball coach for 2 seasons, but to me he was more than a coach; he was the nicest man that I ever met. He was always there for his children and he still did alot of things with them while he was sick. I have seen some people who have just given up on life when they found out they were sick, but he didn't do that. He stuck with his family the whole time and continued to attend all of the boys' sports events. I know that I will miss him very much and it will be hard to replace such a nice guy. I am sure that his family will be alright, if they just stick together and love each other like he loved them. I know that Mr. Ritz wouldn't want them to cry and hide from everybody; he would want them to go on with life and keep him in their memories until the end of their lives. I know I will never forget what a great person Mr. Ritz was.

My family and I would like the entire Ritz family to know that they are and always will be in our prayers.

Tim was one of the brothers I never had. We went to high school together and were college roomates. He was in my wedding. Tim was one of the few men I knew as a high schooler that knew he was going to have a family with several children. He loved children then, and throughout his life.

Tim's legacy (sacrifice, sense of family, humility, friendliness, spirituality, strength, unbridled courage) will live on with his wife and family. Tammy, Valerie and I are deeply saddened by this huge loss.

Tim is a man that will be truely missed. He had a heart the size of a mountain and his smile was even bigger. He touched all of us in many different ways. He left a legacy for us in his children and his wife. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
