I have so many memories of Aunt Vera, I can't possibly share them all. Memories are better than photographs because they are unperishable. Vera pulled by first tooth when I was in first grade and she was teaching 1st grade in another room. The most noticeable attribute of Vera is a Christ-like quality possessed by so few people. She was non-judgemental of others and never made them feel uncomfortable. She accepted others as they are. The focus of her life was her faith and her famlly. A Great Lady

Mrs. Potter was my kindergarten teacher at Center Annex in 1970. She was a sweet, patient, structured and disciplined teacher. Teachers make an immeasurable impact on many lives. I know I will remember her always.

Today on this day of mourning but also a day of celebration, for the long life of Vera Potter,I want everyone to know she was so much to many of us. Our love comes from the depth of our hearts and our very soul. She was so dear and precious I resented dicipline like some as I was growing up but when I did grow up I was so grateful to have been raised by that very dicipline. Aunt Vera was stern but loving. Every chance I got I made it a point to tell her, "I love you and I appreciate every effort you put forth for the good of my benefit". She cared and was respected for everything she stood for. We will all miss her. I can't believe that I will not be there for the funeral but I am very sick. I love all of you, Vera's niece,Shirley and Husband, Richard

So many dear memories...On our last trip to KC we we're having dinner and we were giving Andrew a hard time about not having his license yet and Grandma said she still had her license...She renewed it by mail! She was
always there for anyone
who needed her!!
I'm so glad for all the wonderful memories and how she touched all our lives.
She will be greatly missed!
Love, Chris
