Vicki never did anything half way. Her commitment to her community and her friends was all in. She stood strong in the good fight no matter what the issue. I am sorry for the grief her passing has caused but glad and lucky that I knew her. I hope her friends and family can be comforted by the strength of her spirit and the hope she inspired in others.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful person, Vicki. She was a friend, true advocate for children and education and could light up a room with her enthusiasm. She will be missed and remembered too. You are in my prayers.

We are thankful for all the years of sign language training that she provided us. She gave us a chance to learn something new and the confidence to keep trying and learning as we all grow. The staff will all miss her and send our condolences for the loss. She was a great lady and she will surely be missed each time someone uses sign.

Vickie was a very dedicated Democrat. She spoke before the Platte County Women's Club and I followed her activities. She was a person who inspired others. She will be missed. Mary Anne Baier.

We wish to send our condolences to the Walker family. I remember the night I publicly endorsed Vicki to take my House seat when I retired from the Missouri Legislature. It was at a Southern Communities meeting. I was very impressed with her and knew she would make a good legislator. I will miss her friendship and enthusiasm.

Vicki was one of a kind. I met her when we both worked for the Howard Dean campaign and she blew me away with her enthusiasm and earnestness. Nonetheless, it was her infectious sense of humor that I will miss most.

I always looked forward to our Tuesday morning Writers' Group, where Vicki's work impressed me every time. Her brilliant writing made us think, discuss, sometimes cry, and almost always smile. She was a special inspiration to my own writing, and also a barrel of laughs...I'm honored to have known her...
