My sincere sympathy to you all for your loss of Vivian this week. Vivian was a wonderful lady and a friend to many, and family was most important. My thoughts and prayers and love will be with you today, Brenda, your Dad, your sisters, and family. God Bless Vivian, and may she rest in peace,

My condolences to the family. I am saddened by her passing and sorry I did not make it to reunite with her and the family before this. I am a cousin who has not seen her for years. My dad was her dad's youngest brother. My dad so loved all of his family, especially John Van Aken and talked of Vivian often when I was a child. May you have wonderful and special memories to help fill the void of her presence at this time. It is always very difficult to have a loved one pass from this physical life. Praying for the pain to lessen with each day.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was so good to Amy and I, years ago, when we would come to your house to play or stay overnight. My thoughts are with you all.

Really enjoyed getting to know Vivian over the last several months. Lively conversations about the world, the markets and her card playing brought a smile to my face. Glad she was able to make the trip out West with her daughters. She faced her fate with a grit in which all can find comfort.

Vivian was one in our Granny group that meets every Wednesday to play cards, go on day trips, go out to eat or just anything to just have a good time and laugh together. I miss her already. My love and prayers go out to her family for I know that there is a large emptness in your hearts as there is in all the grannies hearts and an empty chair at our table on Wednesdays.
