DIED
December 3, 2017
ZACHARY MICHAEL LEE PEARCE Zachary Michael Lee Pearce, 24, was taken from us late Sunday, December 3, 2017. Zach was robbed at gun point and shot to death walking home from dinner. Zach is survived by mother Cora Pearce, father Joe Pearce, brother Austin Pearce, cousin Skyler Nohrenberg, grandmother Barbara Pearce, grandfather John Persinger, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Zach was born in Independence, MO, on July 16, 1993. He was attending MCC Blue River and had an Associate's degree studying to become a Paralegal. He worked at the family business Giggles-N-Jiggles Family Fun Center in Blue Springs. Zach was a very opinionated, intelligent, warmhearted, and strong-willed individual. Zach was very strong in his Liberal opinions and let you know in no uncertain terms. He loved music and had accumulated an impressive vinyl collection. Even from a young age he had an insatiable love of reading which was very apparent in his intelligence and vocabulary. But none of it showed the love Zach brought to this world. For those who wish to let Zach know how much you loved him visitation is at 5 p.m. with service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Heart of God Fellowship, 3420 N. Buckner Tarsney Road Buckner, MO 64016. We want to thank not only family and friends, but the community and our associates for their outpouring of love and compassion. God bless you all! Arr.: Heartland 816-313-1677.

I didn't know Zach personally but he hosted my son's birthday party on December 3rd and he was very sweet and kind and helpful and we we're very appreciative. We have had several birthday parties at Giggles and Jiggles and anytime I came in contact with Zach he was this way. I am a mama of two boys and I want to express my condolences to this family. I can only imagine what you are going through at this time. My thoughts and prayers for peace and justice are with this family at this time. Sincerely, Lisa Curtis

I have so many memories of my grandson, Zach and brother Austin. People wonder why us old people talk about the past so much. That is all I have now are my precious memories. Zach would miss Granny and call and say - Granny, let's go to lunch. I think he knew he could eat a big meal and Granny would get the check. Zach was to meet me a few hours after he was taken from us for breakfast with Granny. When he was little he would call me "Granny Love". He would ask for crocheted baby blankets when needed for a friend. He always had a smile for me. Love of his friends and family are such a comfort to know how loved he was.
