Dennis Loske Obituary

ELBURN – Dennis R. Loske, 47, of Elburn, passed from this life to eternal life in the early morning hours of Oct. 9, 2013, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family.

Dennis was born March 5, 1966, in Chicago to Dieter and Monica (McDonald) Loske. He grew up in the family homes in Lombard, Forest Lake and Barrington. Dennis graduated from DeVry with his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and from Illinois Institute of Technology with a master's degree in computer science. He met and married his wife, Becky (Barnas), at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington. They were married on July 11, 1992. They lived in Wheaton until moving to Elburn nearly 20 years ago to start and raise their family.

Dennis worked in the information technology field for many years. He started at AT&T/Bell Labs after college, worked for several computer consulting firms and then spent the past 12 years with CFS Consulting Group of Oak Brook.

He was active in Christ Community Church, St. Charles, in both the KidsWorld and AWANA ministries. He served as a Boy Scout leader for his sons in Troop 777 of LaFox. He also participated in several Bible studies, both at Christ Community Church and Bible Study Fellowship.

His life was devoted to his family and his God. He was a man of faith, a devoted husband and attentive father. Some of his hobbies included family vacations to national parks, running, cycling with friends and brewing a variety of beers.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; their children, Kyle, David and Nicole; his parents, Dieter and Monica Loske; his brothers, John (Terry) Loske of Lexington, S.C., and Kevin (Brooke) Loske of Bartlett; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as relatives in Ireland and Germany.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Christ Community Church, 37W100 Bolcum Road, St. Charles. A funeral service celebrating Dennis' faith will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, also at the church, with Pastor Randy Isola officiating services.

A memorial has been established in his name to benefit his children's education. Checks may be made to the "Dennis Loske Memorial" and mailed in care of the Loske Family at P.O. Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119. Tributes may also be forwarded to the same address or on the Web at www.conleycare.com.

Becky and family,
We are sharing in your sorrow for the loss of your beloved Dennis. We are praying that you are comforted by our Heavenly Father and that He will give you peace and strength for the days ahead. Dennis was a wonderful husband and father and a Godly example for many to follow.
We lift your family up in prayer.

John 10:27-29 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
