Doris Ekstrom Obituary
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Doris Ekstrom, 71, of Knoxville, formerly of Elburn, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 19, 2010.
Doris was of the Lutheran faith. She was an avid cook and loved to read cook books. Doris loved to fish, from catching sailfish in Panama to catching northern pike in Canada.
She was preceded in death by parents, Milton and Dorothy Larson.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Karl; three brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Dr. Bob Stelter officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
