I first learned of Pete's death this morning from Frank Saupp and later saw the obituary. I notified another of Pete's friends from highschool days, Paul Fenske. Our early memories are filled with many adventures with Pete, whether it was building an airplane, learning to fly, canoeing and fishing in the boundary waters or in Canada. Those of us who grew up with him will carry our fond memories of him as long as we live. We can only imagine the loss being experienced by the family and our prayers are with and for them.
