I am deeply saddened to hear of Bud's passing. If there was ever a better welder to work with I haven't met him. Bud and I shared a lot of jobs and stories over the years working together at Fermi. I had a chance to visit Lynchburg, Tn. and Walt and had several stories to tell me about growing up there.
My condolences and sympathy go out to Bud's family at this time. I sure will miss him.

My condolences to the family. Ovena worked with me and both she and Bud were wonderful kind people.

Walt was a dedicated and skillful welder and a joy
to work with. He provided significant assistance
for my former group at Fermilab. May he rest
in peace. I had an opportunity to speak with
Walt at early voting this year in Batavia, for which
I am glad.
