Rosanna Banker Obituary

In Loving Memory of Dr. Rosie Banker July 5, 1984 – October 14, 2025 With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Dr. Rosie Banker a brilliant, fiercely independent, and compassionate soul, who transitioned from this life peacefully in with her friends by her side. Rosie was born in New York and forged her own unique path from an early age. Becoming a doctor was not just a career for her-it was a calling. Her dedication to medicine and her patients was unmatched. She poured her heart into her work and wore the title "Doctor" with great pride. She worked tirelessly to heal others, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those around her. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosie was a true original. She had a rebel spirit, a big, beautiful brain, and a deep love for animals-her furry companions were her family. She brought her sense of adventure to every hike, river float, road trip, and soul-searching conversation she shared with those closest to her. To know Rosie was to be drawn into a world rich with depth, intuition, and quiet meaning. She believed in the power of things not easily explained-trusting her inner compass, seeking beauty, truth, and connection in places others might overlook. She lived with intention, often celebrating her personal milestones quietly but with deep pride-like buying her first car, becoming a homeowner and opening Transcendence Wellness. These were powerful symbols of her strength and independence. Even if the world didn't always stop to notice, those who truly knew her did. And we celebrated with her, fully and joyfully, because we understood just how much those moments meant. Rosie was a devoted and thoughtful, sister, daughter, friend and a soul sister to many, and someone whose belief in others was unwavering-even when she struggled to offer herself the same grace. Her legendary sandwiches, unforgettable campfire stories, and long, heart-deep talks made her presence one that will be forever missed. Rosie was magic. A scientist of the heart and a mystic of the mind. She made us think. She made us laugh. She challenged us. And she made us better. She may no longer walk beside us in the physical, but her energy-wild, wise, and warm-remains with us. Rosie was preceded in death by her mother, Tilottama Star. She is survived by her father, John Banker of Arizona, and her five brothers: Aaron, Ben, John, Michael, Gabriel. She also leaves behind her beloved animal companions-dogs Freddy, Sally, Lilly, and Dotty, and her cherished cat, Chlamydia-who brought her endless joy and unconditional love. While her family ties were part of her story, Rosie also found and built a chosen family-one rooted in mutual love, understanding, and unwavering support. To Cheryl, Angie, Stephanie, Kristin, Carolina, Kaelynn and the many others who stood by her and embraced her in all her complexity-she knew your love, and she cherished it deeply. Her presence, her spirit, and her love will live on in the hearts of all who truly knew her. A special Thank You to the incredible medical staff at Providence Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be coordinated with Kaelynn at [email protected] for the future care of her beloved pets. Dr Banker made such an incredible impact to my life and my health. I went to see her during a time when I was not sure I wanted to keep living. I was at my breaking point with the job I held at the time and I barely had enough energy to make out of bed in the morning. Dr Banker spent so much time with me during my appointments, as I know she did with all her patients. Her knowledge in Kinesiology was beyond any provider I had ever met and she could just look at you and know where and how to treat. I always walked out feeling mentally refreshed. The most amazing thing about her...carrying on a conversation about life stuff with me, it was literally like I was talking to a friend I had known for years. What doctor has this experience with their patients...no one. Dr Banker, you are an absolute angel, heaven has gained an incredible being. I am so deeply saddened by your passing. Sally and Freddy and the rest of your fur babies, along with your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I will never forget the beautiful soul you shined upon myself and all your patients.

Rosie changed my life. There is so much to say about such an incredible human. She was the ONLY doctor to ever get to my root causes. And I worked in medical for 9 yrs..so its crazy to think about all the doctors I have met and tried to see with no help to the issues I had. She helped me get my PCOS into remission which has changed my quality of life and she also assisted me in releasing generations of trauma through NET. So profound that these sessions actually helped rewire my brain and has made a profound impact on my health/healing journey. It was always such an honor to be in her presence and laugh with her. I will miss her deeply. It's ao special to be friends with someone who is so intuitive and deep. Who just GET IT. Who can read your mind and body before you've even started the appointment. Just by looking at me she could see . I feel so blessed that she was a part of my life. I can't imagine my life without her but I know she will now be another angel on my team through this journey. Thank you so so deeply for being so loving, kind, intuitive, intelligent, and genuinely YOURSELF Rosie. I love you and the animals so much. Praying for you, your animals,
your friends, family, and patients. You have made such a great impact on this world and in this lifetime. I know I will see you again sistar. I will make an altar, burn candles, say prayers, and keep you in my heart forever. The work you've done for me and others will never be forgotten and I am forever blessed. Thank you for being such a stellar wombyn and spirit.

My sincere condolences go out to Dr Bankers family. Not only was she the best Doctor I was grateful to have, she was the nicest most down to earth person I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to. I always looked forward to seeing her. She cared for me and my mom and I'll never forget her.
