Arlone Novotne Obituary
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ravenna. Father Richard Piontkowski will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery southeast of Ravenna.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.

Arlone Novotne was born April 21, 1922, at Sweetwater to Edward and Gertrude (Kraemer) Hohlfeld. She received her education in Ravenna and graduated from Ravenna High School in 1940.
She married Leonard Novotne on Sept. 23, 1941, and the couple made their home on a farm near Gibbon.
Arlone worked at the turkey plant in Gibbon for many years. She was a member of the church and Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, yarn work and crocheting.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Karen) Novotne and daughter, Gloria Stittle and special friend Charlie Ackley, all of Ravenna; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; eight brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Cindy; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
