David Keith Glover
David Keith Glover, a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather, passed away on November 24, 2023. Dave was born on August 16, 1953, in Miller, SD, and moved to the family farm in Burke, SD, in 1957. He shared 49 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Judy. His devotion to his family was evident in his love for his children, Matt, Katie, and Allison. His pride and joy extended to his grandchildren, Katlyn, Aiden, Owen, Max, Iyla, and Christian, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.
Dave received his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from SDSU and his Master's degree in Healthcare Administration and Community Planning from NDSU. Professionally, Dave made a lasting mark as a long time hospital administrator for Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. He went on to work as the Clinic Administrator at Family Practice Associates until his retirement in 2019. During his career, his leadership would play a pivotal role in establishing the Flight for Life program, and later the Nebraska Telehealth Network. Dave also served on the Kearney Public Schools Board for 28 years, contributing to the betterment of education for generations to come. He leaves behind a legacy that reflects his hard work and dedication to the community and the advancement of quality healthcare in central Nebraska.
Dave held a deep love for music, often attending concerts with his family and friends. He was an avid Husker football fan and enjoyed attending games when he could. His sharp mind excelled at trivia, and his interest in genealogy reflected his appreciation for heritage and roots. Traveling held a special place in his heart, allowing him to explore and create memories with loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Graesser) Glover, his children: Matt (Amanda), Katie (Aaron), and Allison, as well as six grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Tom (Peg), Deb, Marsha (John), Gary (Dawn), Stephanie (James), Dillon, and Seth; along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jon Harvey Glover and Lois (Alley) Glover, his brother, Jon Glover; sister Arlene Hazel Glover, and brothers-in-law John Kienke, Bill Graesser, and Butch Leibel.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 10100 Cedar Island Rd, Bellevue, NE offering an opportunity for family and friends to honor his memory, share stories, and rejoice in a life fully lived.

Judy: My sympathy on losing Dave. He remained an advocate for patients throughout his administrative years. Because of you, he had an empathy for what nurses go through on duty, concommittently keeping the respect of physicians. His positive mark on Kearney is well documented, and will be remembered. Take care of yourself in the weeks ahead.

My sympathy to all who loved Dave. He was a good man. Always felt his kindred spirit when I came from SD to work at Good Sam in 1982. I also had the privilege of working for him at FPA. May he rest in peace.

We have been so sorry to hear of Dave's tragic health situation and now his death. We knew the energetic, intelligent, caring person that lived in Dave's body. We worked side by side at First United Methodist Church where he was many times my confidant and "go to guy". What a loss. Blessings and condolences to Judy and all the family.
