Harold Beck Obituary
HOLDREGE - Harold William Beck, 80, of Holdrege died Monday, May 3, 2010, at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Holdrege with the Rev. Dr. W. Kirwin Stewart Jr. officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Oxford Cemetery with military honors by the Oxford Veterans Organization and the U.S. Army National Guard Honors Team.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the church with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m. Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home of Holdrege is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Oct. 8, 1929, on the family farm northeast of Oxford in Harlan County to William and Elsa (Grosse) Beck.
On Feb. 21, 1960, he married Barbara Kolves of Stamford in Stamford.
Survivors include his wife; son, Kurt of Lincoln; sister, Eunice Miller of Alma; and three grandchildren.
