Lori Lynne Cody, age 60 of Minden, Neb. died on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney surrounded by family and love.
Funeral services will be on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney. Pastor Dean Buse will officiate and burial will be at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Lori was born on June 26, 1964, in Beatrice, Neb., Lori was a graduate of Beatrice High School. She had a heart for service and spent her life devoted to helping others, especially children and adults with special needs. Her compassion and joy made a lasting impact on every life she touched.
Lori found joy in the simple and beautiful parts of life-her grandchildren, a blooming garden, a good thrift store finds, or cheering on her favorite teams in baseball, football, and racing. In recent years, her faith became a strong source of peace and purpose, and she was an active member of New Life Church in Kearney.
Lori is survived by her loving partner, Willy Arnold; her children, Ryan Schultz (Nichole), Dustin Kassing, Katelyn Kassing, Leslie Horn (Steve), and Shelby Arnold; her grandchildren: Ella Schultz, Reed Schultz, Gavin Kassing, Emmett Kassing, Haven Tobiassen, Evan Horn and Brooklyn Horn; and her sister, Deb Undereiner. She is also remembered dearly by many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Connie Jones; and her precious grandson, Rhett.
Lori's presence brought laughter, love, and light. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and in the many lives she uplifted through her care and kindness.

I just saw this,so sorry for your loss. I knew Lori when we were young girls growing up on the Westside of Beatrice. My dad also worked with Loris dad. My mom was friends with Arlowyn. My deepest condolences to the family.
