Marion Beck Obituary
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday at First Christian Church in Minden with the Rev. Joe Tira officiating. The service will be live-streamed to the funeral home's Facebook
page.
Interment will be held following the service at the Minden Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Marion Ila Beck was born on Dec. 14, 1929, in Norman to Harry and Anna (Jacobsen) Bergsten. She grew up in the Norman area and attended school in Norman and Minden.
She married Donald Ray Beck on Sept. 19, 1948, in Norman and to this union, four children were born, David Harry, Timothy Ray, Nancy Joy and Mary Melissa. The family made their home in Minden where Marion was employed at the Minden Exchange Bank. They also spent many winters in Pharr, Texas.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Minden, the Prairie Promenaders Square Dance Club, various card clubs (mostly Som-R-Set and Bridge) and was a volunteer reader for kindergartners for many years. Marion enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's activities, and following Husker Football. She and Don attended "The Game of the Century" on N0ov. 25, 1971 at Norman, Okla. They also enjoyed snow-skiing in Colorado and spending warm times at Summer Haven Lake with the Petersen and Villars families.
Survivors include her sons, Dave (Barb) Beck of Grand Island, and Tim (Dixie) Beck of Minden; daughters, Nancy (Paul) Maly of Wichita, Kansas, and Mary (Brent) Stewart of Minden; sisters, Helen (Jim) Karloff of Hastings, and Edna (Jim) Englund of Holdrege; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don in 2007; sister, Elaine; two granddaughters, Melissa Talbert, and Kim Payne.
Memorials in Marion's honor are kindly suggested to First Christian Church in Minden, Bethany Home in Minden or to AseraCare Hospice in Kearney.
