Raymond Schescke Obituary

Naponee resident, 78

BELLEVUE - Raymond Earl "Ray" Schescke, 78, of Naponee died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Bellevue Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Naponee Wesleyan Church with the Revs. Duane Lauber and Scott Randall officiating. Burial will be at Bainbridge Cemetery northwest of Huntley with military honors by Naponee veterans organizations.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today at Banta-Torrey Funeral Home in Alma and before services Saturday at the church. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 22, 1932, near Huntley to Earl and Lily (Schroeder) Schescke.

On Sept. 25, 1959, he married Bonnie Hasenyager in Alma.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Tim of Pasco, Wash., Mike of Kearney and Scott of Eugene, Ore.; daughters, Raelynn of Naponee, Janice and Jill, both of Helena, Mont., and Susan Jester of Franklin; brothers, Ronald of Oxford and Roger of Huntley; sisters, Rolene Charest of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Roberta Rebman of Derby, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
