Rita Hinds Obituary
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez officiating. The Mass will be livestreamed via the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home Facebook page.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Sunday with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.
Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
Rita was born Oct. 4, 1928, to Thomas and Margaret (Mittman) Cooney at the family farm southwest of Overton.
She married John Hinds on July 5, 1954. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Colin Hinds of Lexington and Thomas Hinds of Elm Creek; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
