Sheryl Hibbs Obituary
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Nate Krizek officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sheryl was born Nov. 29, 1955, in Belleville, Kansas, to Ernest and Elda (Bergstrom) Carpenter. She was raised in Chester and received her education from Chester-Hubbell-Byron High School, graduating in 1975.
On Oct. 7, 1976, she gave birth to her only daughter, Jennifer Renae Hibbs. On Aug. 9, 1980, she married David Hibbs and gave birth to her first son, David Hibbs Jr., on Jan. 28, 1981. She gave birth to another son, Jason Hibbs, on June 26, 1983.
Sheryl loved taking care of people. She was a very caring person and especially cherished her time spent with family. She enjoyed going to garage sales and was known for her sense of humor.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Hibbs (Alex); sons, David Hibbs Jr. and Jason Hibbs (Maggie); grandchildren, Jaymee Hibbs, Britney Hibbs, Dylan Hibbs, Aclynn Osterbuhr, Aayden Hibbs, Caitlynn Anderson and Chloe Blank; two sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Charles Fike, Keith Carpenter and Carl Carpenter.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
