Jo was a grandmother to me. She and I worked at the Best Western. She always made sure I had something to eat and I was taking care of myself. I miss her so much. She will always be in my heart. ❤

Friends since 9th grade, it won't seem right from here on out when our high school group meets for lunch as we have for over 58 years. Jo won't be with us. We should ask for a larger table leaving the empty chair for Jo. She was our quiet, steady friend who would surprise us with her wit, political commentary, or tell about a an event or trip with her much-loved extended family of cousins. She had a unique history of Sioux Falls, zippy wit, and a soft hearted animal lover. Her health troubles seemed to multiply in the past years. She was willing to go the next step in treatment, but was tiring out. May she be at full rest and peace with her departed family and beloved pets.

As a child we always looked forward to the 4th at aunt Jo’s. We always had a great time with Steve and Jo. They will always be missed. Until we meet again. With all my love. Krissie

Jo was the faithful wife of my dear brother, Stephen E. Aschoff. They were both animal lovers, Jo with her many cats and Steve with his kennel of dogs and various strays. Jo, RIP. M. Paul and Charlotte W. Aschoff

Jo and her mother were two peas in a pod. When I broke my ankle several years ago, Jo and Florene brought me Florence's famous potato salad because they knew I loved it. I talked to Jo not too long ago about a book Florence wanted to donate to the Sioux Valley Genealogy Society. May she have peace and rest in the arms of our Lord.
