Michael David Isenberg, 65 of Belle Fourche, SD died April 21, 2025 following a battle with cancer.
Michael was born August 11, 1959 in Bellefonte, PA to Charles and Harriet (Chadwick) Isenberg. He attended school in Belle Fourche and at the age of 15 he started as a mechanic at Ray's Sinclair and Radiator and was a mechanic most of his life.
He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved riding and repairing them. He sure enjoyed the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He also enjoyed rebuilding and restoring classic cars. Car shows were definitely up his alley. Mike even won a few car shows which he was very proud of. Other then motorcycles and cars, he enjoyed camping, spending time with grandkids and hanging with his biker buddies. Mike was so proud of his children and who they have become.
Mike spent a lot of time with Dave and Carmon at the Circle Lounge back in the day but had many friends. In his later years he enjoyed working around his house and spending time with family. Mike was very fortunate to write his own obituary. If anyone who knew Mike, you would know he was always a jokester, and tried to make you laugh or smile. Here are a few things he wanted to be said. "To Dave Engler: Please give Trump a chance Isn't that right, Dave? I'm saying this in English and not Spanish, Engler."
"I couldn't ask for a better family or friends. I love you all and wouldn't trade you for the world."
"Don't be sad when I go, I've had more than 9 lives, I'm tough. I want my memories to be shared with smiles and laughs."
"Can't wait to see you all again someday."
He is survived by his sons, David Isenberg of Michigan and Matthew; daughters, Misty Isenberg (Spencer Spaulding) of Belle Fourche and Michelle Isenberg of Belle Fourche; three gained stepchildren, Heather, Amanda and Dillon; 4 grandchildren; his brothers, Charles (Doris) Isenberg of Belle Fourche, Ron (Jewel) Wielander of Sturgis and Dennis Strege of Las Vegas, NV and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Harriet; his sister, Juanita Philipsen and a brother, Edward Isenberg.
A Visitation/Open House was held Saturday, May 3 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Kline Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche. Everyone is welcome to attend as this will be the funeral for Mike on May 3. Burial will take place Friday, May 9th at 10:00 am at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.
