Robin L. Morgan

Robin L. Morgan, 52, of Vermillion, SD, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024, at his home. Robin was born on September 30, 1971 and was adopted by his mother, Mary Morgan from Rosebud Reservation in Todd County, SD. He graduated from Todd County High School then served in the United States Navy, an akícita as a signal man 2nd class on the USS Saipan and was very proud of his military service. He was an important member of the Wasé Wakpa community a traditional Sicangu Lakota who treasured lakólwicokanki (the Lakota ways). He was a Sundancer and a leader at ceremony as well as an Oyate singer. He was a father, brother, uncle, and a friend. Quick to share whatever he had to those around him, he was ikcé wicaša. Grateful for having shared his life are his son, Andrew Morgan; Mary Morgan his adopted mother, Brother Chris Morgan; his personal friends and chosen family, and his Lakota Community.
