Sharon Stoll Obituary

Sharon Stoll, 76, of Sioux Falls, passed away peacefully at the Dougherty Hospice House, February 2, 2024.

Sharon Florence Stoll was born July 25, 1947, in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Henline) Huneger. She graduated from O'Gorman High School in 1965. After graduation Sharon went to Business School in Omaha where she met and married Kenneth Stoll. Sharon went on to have two children and settled in Sioux falls. After Sharon divorced, she met Ben Olsen who became her longtime companion.

Sharon worked throughout her life for 1st National Bank, Tel drug-Cigna, before retiring. Sharon returned to work, after Benny passed in 2016, at Hy-Vee and worked in the bakery, which she truly enjoyed.

Sharon loved spending time with her family. Some of her favorite memories include Bowling with her boys at Sport Bowl, fishing on the river with Benny, and watching football and NASCAR, Jimmie Johnson being her favorite driver.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt. Sharon will be missed by her boys, Kevin (Kelly) of Rochester MN, Tracey (Rosella) of Sioux Falls SD, sister Barb (Ron) Kansas, her grandchildren Cody, Pipestone MN and Kallie, Sioux Falls SD and nieces Sarah (Kobi), Anne (Dana), and great niece Arianna of Kansas, and many friends and co-workers. Sharon in proceed in death by her parents, grandparents and of course Benny.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later time. Family is requesting in lieu of Flowers a donation be made in Sharons memory to the Dougherty Hospice House. Cards can be mailed to the Miller Funeral Home- 507 S Main st Sioux Falls SD 57104.
