1970 - 2021

Terri Lynn Hoeltzner, 51, of Platte, SD passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 as the result of an automobile accident. Memorial Services are 10:30 AM Friday, October 8, 2021 at Mount Funeral Home in Platte. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 – 10:30 AM prior to services on Friday. Terri Lynn Pennington was born on August 22, 1970 to Beverly J. (Melcher) Pennington and Glen D. Pennington. She attended Platte High School and graduated there in 1988. She moved to Sioux Falls and eventually moved back to Platte to help her mother in 1994. She went on to purchase White Tiger Financial Service from her mother in 1999. She owned and operated it until her passing.

Phil Gunderson and Terri were married on May 21, 1998, to this union four children were born: Shaun, Enjoli, Brian and Xaviera. She was remarried on September 1, 2019 to Ronald Hoeltzner.

She loved traveling, gardening, cooking and watching her beach house shows on T.V. - but most importantly she loved all of the friends and family that she left behind.

Grateful for having shared in Terri's life: her husband, Ronald J. Hoeltzner, Sr. of Platte, SD; her ex-husband, Phil Gunderson of Platte, SD; four children: Shaun Gunderson of Platte, SD, Enjoli Gunderson of Mitchell, SD, Brian Gunderson and Xaviera Gunderson both of Platte, SD; three step children: Crystal Knock of Alexandria, SD, Ronald J. Hoeltzner, Jr. of Ethan, SD and Jessica Hoeltzner of Alexandria, SD; one granddaughter, Xena Foust; six step-grandchildren: Trinity, Eliyah and Maddox Knock, Karsen and Kayler Hoeltzner and Anya Cromwell; an uncle, Warren (Dorothy) Melcher of Murdo, SD; along with several cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bev; her father, Glen; her aunt, Maxine; and a step-daughter, Heather.

She will be dearly missed.
