Charlotte A. Shanks, 87, of Aurora, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 at her son's home. She was born on March 16, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Carl Serenius and Helen (Johnson) Palmquist.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn Ave., Aurora, IL 60506. Her funeral service followed at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park at a later date.
