James W. Follmer, of Pontiac, IL formerly of Yorkville, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Rehab and Healthcare in Pontiac, IL. He was born on March 16, 1929 in Pontiac, IL the son of Lester H. and Lucille (Smith) Follmer.
Jim is survived by his sons, Robert (Deborah) Follmer of Pontiac, IL and Gregg (Janene) Follmer of Winfield, KS; his four granddaughters, Nicole (Stephen) Krominga, Sarah (Rick) Clopton, Lillian (Travis) Gootee, and Margret (Jake) Boydston; his five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his step-children, Keith, Scott, Jim, Bob, Vicky and Diane; also many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment with full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, IL.
