Born: August 9, 1943
Died: June 19, 2021
Myrna Rae (Johnson) Hupach, 77, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. Our family lost a mother, sister, grandmother, and friend that will forever leave an imprint in our hearts. Myrna was born August 9, 1943, to Carl and Myrtle Johnson in Sandwich, Illinois, the oldest of three sisters.
She loved her husband, Kenny, and her family so much. She was proud of her children, Kim and Kyle, and her six grandchildren. She was such a loving soul and pitched in to help whenever needed. Long after the days of making ice cream cones at the Tastee Treet were over, she was still making them for her grandchildren! Myrna and Kenny had many memories traveling to Manzanillo, Mexico for the past 30+years. It is there where they developed deep friendships with many people that too called Manzanillo their second home away from home.
Myrna is survived by her children; Kim (Greg) Kazarian; Kyle (Loree) Hupach; grandchildren, John Kazarian, Alex Kazarian, Ryan Hupach, Kenny Kazarian, Kassie Hupach, and Lindsey Hupach; sisters, Sharon Foster and Laura Houtz; brothers-in-law, Jim Foster and Rob Houtz.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, August 7 at The American Legion, 510 E. Dearborn St., Plano, Illinois. The family will greet friends and enjoy a cookout from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Open Door Rehabilitation Center, 405 S. Wells St., Sandwich, Il 60548.
