Rebecca "Becky" Johnson, 75, of Yorkville, passed away at home on October 5, 2025. She was born February 18, 1950, in Galesburg, IL, daughter of the late Archie and Francina Maze.
After graduating from West Aurora High School, Becky went on to complete beauty school, worked at the Looking Glass and Ethel's Pink Cloud in Aurora. Later, she also enjoyed her work at the Hallmark store and Yorkville Recreation Department. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards, games and doing puzzles; planting flowers in the summer and watching squirrels, birds and other wildlife; road trips, fishing, pontoon boat rides and especially watching the grandkids play sports.
Becky is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard "Rick" Johnson; daughters, Missy (Bryan) Williams and Lisa (John) Redman; grandchildren, Lane Davis, Brock and Grant Williams, Caleb, Sarah, Naomi and Elise Redman; brothers, Don (Karen) Maze and Dennis (Sue) Maze; sister, Joyce (Billy) Forshee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 3 PM until time of service at 5 PM at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.
