Alan Dow Knickerbocker

February 25, 1934 - January 29, 2025

Alan Dow Knickerbocker, 90, of Spring Grove, Ill., passed away on January 29, 2025. He married Karleen Chapman in 1958. A US Army veteran, he served in the 6th Chemical Battalion and at the American Embassy in London. Alan had a 31-year career with Abbott Laboratories, retiring as Mgr of Tool Planning in 1992. He is survived by children, Andrea, Karla, and Craig; five grandchildren; and his brother, Jerry.
