I worked at an Antique store in Waukesha, Wisconsin, AL was friends with one of my fellow employees, he'd stop in several times a week, to visit, he was shooting photos for the Milwaukee Journal/sentinel at the time, Great guy, very knowledgeable, funny, excellent wit! I just looked him up now on 12/22/23. He was a great guy, I'm sure his family misses him, great fond memories of him. So sorry for his loss. Awesome person, full of great stories.

I met Al in the fall of 1968. We worked as photographers on the Tremper Tempest newspaper and Classic yearbook staff.
It was Al´s passion, and dedication to photography that started my photographic career. He took the time to tutor and inspire a new sophomore.
So from me, one more time. Thanks Al.

Not a better moment of my young life than heading to NYC in 1975 to see Springsteen's break-out show at The Bottom LIne. Al's photos caught all the excitement. It was an extraordinary trip, including a crazy drive back to Kenosha in Al's Pinto. (Could a family member please contact me at the email address the funeral home has?)
