Betty "Elizabeth" L. (nee Ketterhagen) Epping

Betty "Elizabeth" L. Epping (nee Ketterhagen) passed away at Hospice Alliance in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin at the age of 94 on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Betty is the beloved wife of the late Claude. Loving mom of Peggy (Allen) Briggs, Jerome (Colleen) Epping, Robert (Rena) Epping, Dennis (Julie) Epping, Richard (Lora) Epping, and Donna (Shawn) McLafferty. Proud grandma of Patricia and Michael (Melissa) Briggs, Bradd (Megan) Epping, and Carli (Joe) Schmaling, Trent (Tara) Epping, Taun (Adam) Parkers, and Troy Epping, Jade (Andy) Kloster, and Chloe (Drew) Ziebel, Jordan (Krista) Epping, and Dylan (Megan) Epping, Drew McLafferty, Chad McLafferty, and Shae McLafferty.

Visitation on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 10 am to the time of the Mass at 12 pm at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6211 344th Ave., New Muenster, Wisconsin. Private interment in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Wisconsin at a later date.

Betty and Claude enjoyed their time in Arizona during retirement before his passing. She enjoyed mowing her lawn and tending to her flowers but most importantly spending time with her family.

The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or Scout Leaders Rescue Squad in lieu of flowers.
