To Carol´s family- I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories of her bring you comfort. She was my 2nd grade teacher at Salem Grade School in the 1957-1958 school year. I remember her as a kind, sweet, patient woman. When our bus flipped over on the way to our class picnic, she remained calm. Even though she was injured, she insisted that the paramedics bring her back to the school to see if we were safe. What a wonderful person. I will forever consider "Miss Vaughn" my favorite teacher.

My heart goes out to Del and the family for their loss of Carol and I pray they find consolation in the fact that she was so very special and loved by so many! We had so many great laughs, brandy slush's, and great desserts when Carol hosted our Tic club! We all went home happy, she made sure of that! LOVED AND SPECIAL LEAVING A VOID!
