KENOSHA - Eileen Marschner passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha. She was born on December 17, 1931, and was a lifelong resident of Kenosha. She was a graduate of Kenosha High School. On October 15, 1955, she married Donald Marschner.
Eileen was a lifelong member of Friedens Lutheran Church (now New Life Lutheran Church) in Kenosha and was active in Ladies Aid and Altar Guild. She was an accomplished bowler and enjoyed reading, needlepoint and knitting and watching the Packers. She loved to sit outside, soaking up the warm sunshine. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Nellie Fiege; sister, Betty Boehme; and her husband, Donald.
She is survived by three children, Thomas (Friday Harbor, WA), Donald (Wendy) (Bexley, OH) and Beth (Thomas) Biggs (Kenosha); four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Brookside for their compassionate care.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at New Life-East Lutheran Church. (formerly Friedens Lutheran Church, 5038-19th Avenue, Kenosha, Wis.) Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A burial will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

TO EILEEN, Ihope its ok to say this but I always called you mama because I felt that way and Beth said it was ok. Iknow you were such a good mother because ive met and got to know your kids. And sweetie you did a damn good job! And to the children of Eileen Marschner, Tom, Don and Beth( my friend). Thank you for sharing her with me! Iwill always remember her and keep her in my heart forever and you all as well! Thank You And Im so sorry for your loss!

My condolences to the family,Eileen although she's a fighter and always refused patient care, she's still my favorite resident at brookside, no more pain Eileen my love..I will really missing you ..everytime I get you up for dinner,I always say we have pasta,coz you told me that's your favorite, I have to tell you everyday it's pasta even if it's not..but you still eat it..Im sorry I have to lie..for you just to eat..rest in peace Eileen I LOVE YOU
