Elizabeth Jane Arterburn

April 4, 1954 - September 22, 2025

Elizabeth Jane Arterburn, 71, of Genoa City, WI passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at her home.

Elizabeth was born on April 4, 1954, in Aurora, IL to Roy and Barbara (nee Foster) Wittry. She grew up and received her education in Aurora. On June 5, 1982, she was united in marriage to Dale E. Arterburn in Yorkville, IL. Following marriage they made Bristol, IL their home before moving to Wheatland, WI in 1989. They later made Genoa City their home. Elizabeth was the office administrator for Fox Valley Telephone. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading, working crosswords and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Barbara; her husband of 43 years Dale; children: Neal Wenckus, Jennifer (Jim) Gomoll, Chad (Joyce) Arterburn, Katie (Ryan) Doherty and Matt Arterburn. She is further survived by grandchildren: Samantha, Steven, Ariel, Alana, Kyra, Addison and Reagan; along with siblings: Theresa (Joe) McQueen, Marianne Lopez, Michael (Sue) Wittry, Christine (Rick) Layman and Karen Hunter. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Roy; and brothers-in-law, Phil Lopez and Chris Hunter.

In Lieu of flowers memorials in Eizabeth's name can be donated to Aurora at Home Hospice.

A gathering to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at a later date.
