George W. Principe

1935 - 2021

George Principe passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 1, 2021, surrounded by his family. He met the love of his life, Sarah Garris in June of 1958, just four days after he returned from deployment in the Korean Conflict. George served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He married Sarah on January 28, 1961. They celebrated their 60th year of marriage this year.

George was a Master Plumber and started his business in 1970. He was a tireless worker who served the Kenosha area for 46 years. Above all, George was a consummate professional who took great pride in his work. He touched the lives of many people through his work and befriended many coworkers and customers through the years.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah; son, Paul (Jenniffer) Principe of Pleasant Prairie, WI and daughter Ruth (Randy) Oberst of Florida; and siblings: Jon Principe, Cheryl (Jim) Gemignani and Roberta Principe of Palm Desert, CA.

A memorial service will be held for George at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Casa Capri, 2129 Birch Road, Kenosha, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in George's memory at
