Jeanette "Jeni" Hudson

KENOSHA - Jeanette "Jeni" Hudson, 93, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on June 24, 1928 to the late Gustus and Veronica (Wielgat) Safiejko in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
On January 28, 1956 she married Oscar O. Hudson at St. Casimir Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2018.
Jeni was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church.
Jeni volunteered for RSVP for schools and was involved with Brownies, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Jeni volunteered at St. Casimir's School and Church and would be there whenever they needed her. She enjoyed sewing and baking. Most of all, Jeni loved spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren.
Jeni is survived by her children: Marie (Rob) Hayden, Michael O. (Teri) Hudson and Mary (Danny) Munns; her grandchildren: Erika Hayden, Michael J. (Glenda) Hudson, Tina Ausherman, Jon Hayden, Megan Hayden, Summer Munns and Jacob Munns; her great-grandchildren: Matthew Ausherman, Loralye Ausherman, Zelda Hudson and Oscar Hudson; her sister Mary Sams; and a son-in-law Steve Ocker.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Margaret "Margie" Ocker, brother John Safiejko, Fr. Ed Safiejko, Fr. Joe Safiejko and Craig Stanley and her twin sister Helen Gryczkowski.
Visitation for Jeni will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church, 2224–45th Street. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Please omit flowers, memorials would be appreciated to a charity of one's choice.
