John C. Buffo

1929 - 2020

John C. Buffo, 91, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, surrounded by family at his home.

He was born in Hartshorne, OK on May 15, 1929, a son of the late John and Amy (Dupire) Buffo.

John served in the U.S. Army as a SSGT in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was a charter of VFW Post 11279 in Twin Lakes.

He was married to Rosemary on Oct. 17, 1953, in Chicago, IL. He was an avid cribbage player, gardener and jokester.

John was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond and a member of the Knights of Columbus # 8366.

He was a warehouse manager at Skokie Valley Beverage for 35 years retiring in 1994.

John is survived by by his wife Rosemary; children Pamela Maloney, of Kenosha, WI; John M. (Renia) Buffo, of Neshkoro, WI; Debbie (Ron) King, of Twin Lakes, WI; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Trihas and Betty (Gene) Schaefer.

He was preceded by three sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday Dec. 19, 2020 at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St. Richmond with Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10519 Main St Richmond, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Richmond, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to LaSalette Shrine in Twin Lakes, WI or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond, IL or the VFW in Twin Lakes.
