Thinking of you alot lately big brother, miss our catch-up calls and updates on the kids but I've been keeping an eye on them for you and they are doing great. You raised a couple of really good adults that you can be proud of. Miss your wisecracks and mischievous jokes but most of all, I miss my big brother .
Love you Bro, until we meet again.

The relationship between brothers can be a complicated one. When brothers are born a year apart, the younger brother looks up to the older, they have similar interest during their pre-school, school years and through adolescence. They are in the Partners-in-Crime stage of their relationship that can continue into early adulthood. Add into that equation a third brother, the Baby. Now keep in mind, all of these brothers where born between 1950 and 1953, so labeling the 3rd brother as the baby hardly seem fair, but the big brother alliance was set and that meant years of pranks from my Big Brothers.. Then in 1961 along came brother number 4, Great, I'm thinking, finally I'll be allowed into the big brother alliance and we will wreak havoc on this new arrival into our family, Right?. Not so fast, all of a sudden these 2 big hooligans have developed a maternal side to them that I have never witnessed before. Come on, I'm thinking, lets get him, lets watch monster movies on TV and then wake him up in the middle of the night with scary mask on our faces or put some hot sparklers into the handlebars of his tricycle and invite him to go for a ride (Yep that happened), but no nothing. Instead they are rocking him on the rocker and playing with this little poop machine, Goo Goo Ga Ga, yea I hear ya. So much material to work with here, he poops, cries a lot and can't even speak properly, lets go for it, but No the kid gets a pass, (with the exception of telling him he was adopted when he was a little older), so I end up forming my own alliance with the little one, but nothing like those two. They were best friends and worst enemies, we could always plan on a little interjection during a family get together, but Ron would always find the time to make the hour + trip to visit John at his place of business and they would go for pasta afterwards. When Ron passed then Kathy, John seemed to change, he lost his 2 best family friends and it wasn't the first time loved one had passed. He would call me and give me medical advice when he heard I had a health issues as he was dealing with his own health issues. I knew there were health issues he had been dealing with for years, just as Ron did, however never did I think I would loose both my big brothers so early in life. I am, however, comforted in knowing that they both have God in their lives and will be reunited with Dad, Kathy and all those who have passed before them and one day we all will be reunited again.
Rest in Peace Big brother, Rest in Peace..
