Judie Morey Obituary
1946 - 2017
The beautiful soul of Judie Morey, 71, returned to heaven on Monday, July 17, 2017, at her home in Berlin, Wis.
Judith Ann Newman was born on April 13, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wis. The only daughter and eldest child of Robert and Irene (Dziewiatkowsi) Newman, she grew up and attended schools in Rhinelander, Wis.
Judie was united in marriage to Rodney Morey on Nov. 13, 1965. They welcomed three children and several extras over the course of their 51 years of marriage.
Judie served in the Air Force and worked in accounting and bookkeeping. She most enjoyed sharing her love of crafting by teaching, most recently at a local craft store and senior center in Wausau, Wis. She loved baking, painting, and needlecrafts and would enthusiastically learn new creative outlets to share with others. Judie was happiest when traveling, camping or simply spending time with family and friends.
Judies memory is carried in the hearts of her husband, Rod; sons, Lorne Morey (Susan Westover) and Chris (Wendy) Morey; daughter, Glenda Morey (John Flahive); grandchildren, Peter, Cody (Cody), Chelsea, Shelby, Mikayla, Lyle and Nate; great-grandchildren, Avery and Addisyn; the Davis and Kruse families; and the many extras she welcomed in as family along the way.
A private service was held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017.
