KENOSHA - Kathie Stanley, of Kenosha, WI passed away January 5, 2024 in West Allis, WI. She was born May 2, 1965 in Waukegan, IlL to parents John Dale and Dana Joy (Dumas) Orender.
Kathie grew up with her family in Lake County and attended Zion schools before moving to Kenosha.
Kathie was a survivor. She was resilient, strong, and overcame hardships many of us couldn't imagine and kept a kind heart through it all.
She loved 80's rock and attended many concerts over the years. She also loved Harley Davidson, murder mysteries, traveling, make-up, getting her hair done, shopping, scratch-offs, sweets, fun company, traveling, and her cat Kiera.
Kathie recently attended the NASCAR Championship in Phoenix, AZ this past November.
Kathie is survived by her longtime boyfriend and partner in life, and in crime, John Burchett; children: Roger Stanley and Leslie (Mike Fleming) Dalton; granddaughter, Grace Mae; uncle, John (Cherie) Dumas; cousins: Jerri, Sarah, and Shelly; and her beloved cat, Kiera. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, John Dale and Dana Joy (Dumas) Orender who passed at the young age of 25; grandmother, Joyce Dumas; uncle, Regis Dumas; aunt, Judy Hartley; cousin, Jessica Hartley; and father of her daughter, Tony Wayne Dalton.
The family of Kathie would like to extend a special thank you to nurses Jeannette, Nichole, and Jessica at Froedert South in Kenosha, WI for going above and beyond as well as VITAS Hospice in West Allis for the wonderful care and comfort that was provided to their family.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099. Followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home.
