Rosalio "Pocho" Gutierrez, Jr, 40 years old, lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI.
He was born April 10, 1980, in Kenosha, WI. He is the son of Selia (Ramirez) and Eugene Patterson Jr. Rosalio attended area schools and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He went on to work for several companies including the State Public Defender and most recently, A Plus Quality Construction and Tranquility Property Group. Rosalio was a member of Great Lakes Church, Kenosha.
Rosalio loved being a father to his children, and recently had co-coached his son's Little League team, and proudly taken his daughter to gymnastic competitions. Rosalio loved all sports, especially the Chicago teams: Cubs, Bears, and Black Hawks. He also enjoyed the outdoors, appreciated all genres of music and dancing, he was full of life with much to offer and will be missed by many friends and family members.
Survivors include his children: Julian Gutierrez and Ava Gutierrez; his mother, Selia (Eugene) Patterson Jr; a sister, Dakota Ramirez-Patterson; and stepsiblings: Eugene W. (Nikki) Patterson III, Angel S. (Nathan) Saunders, and Marlon JC Patterson; an uncle Eulalio "Lalo" Garza; and many cousins, second cousins and extended family members. Rosalio was preceded in death by great uncles: Diego Ramirez Jr., Jose Manuel Ramirez, and Domingo Ramirez; great aunts: Amelia Carreon and Olga Carreon; and his maternal grandparents, Alicia (Santos) Garcia.
A memorial visitation in celebration of Pocho's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Great Lakes Church, 7600 75th Street, Ste 220, Kenosha, WI with a service to be held at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to a memorial fund for Rosalio's children, in care of Selia Patterson and can be sent to Proko Funeral Home for forwarding.
