Rosezella Foskett Obituary

Rosezella Mae Foskett

June 4, 1944 - February 17, 2025

JOHNSBURG, ILL. - Rosezella Mae Foskett, of Johnsburg, Ill., passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the age of 80, at home surrounded by family and friends.

She was born June 4, 1944, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Thelma (Benning) Campanella.

On June 13, 1969 (Friday the 13th) she married Robert "Bobby" Fosket in Racine, Wis. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Rose spent most of her career with the Lawter and Hexion corporations, both involved in chemical and ink manufacturing, with plants worldwide. She was involved with the Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and Carpentersville, Ill., sites. Lastly, she maintained an office at 200 N. Lasalle, Chicago, Ill.

Rose was also a past president of the Lake County, Ill., chapter of Business and Professional Women (BPW), a Den Mother, a baseball coach, and a school bus driver when the children were young.

She loved playing card games such as Mahjong, boating, bicycling, swimming, gardening, flowering plants, and in later years, participating in triathlons. Her goals were to finish every race and improve her time from the previous year. She had a special group of socially active lady friends who gave her the nickname "Tiffiny Rose."

She volunteered her time every tax year, preparing taxes for the elderly and needy through the AARP Tax Aid Program.

Rose was known for her loving kindness, genuine interest in everyone, constant smile, infectious laughter, and fantastic cooking and culinary. She was proud of her Italian heritage, being the first on her father's side to be born in America.

She leaves behind her husband, Robert; daughters, Tammy (Bobby) Larabee and Terre Wilhoite; sons, Todd (Julie) Foskett, and Clifford (Veronica) Foskett. A brother, Ronald (Anne) Campanella. As well as 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 12 to 4 p.m.
