Vickie L. Leiting

KENOSHA - Vickie L. Leiting, age 68, a resident of Kenosha, died Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie.
Born on July 26, 1955, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Leo D. and Shirley (Huck) Leiting.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a graduate of Tremper High School.
She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. For many years she was the Manager of Western Gas Station and then Super America. She eventually worked for Speedway as a Recruiter. She retired in 2017.
She loved to camp and read, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by three brothers: James (Janet) Leiting, Donald (Laura) Leiting, Robert (Cynthia) Leiting; two sisters: Cheryl (Russ) Ruegger, Diane Sterba; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews, as well as cousins. She is further survived by her dear friend, Vickie Ellis; and her cat, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael.
A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church in Kenosha. Visitation with the family will be on Friday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude's Children Hospital would be appreciated.

Love and prayers to the whole family. Vicki came all the way up north here when my dad passed away, I can still see her sitting at my kitchen table such a lovely woman I so enjoyed talking with her ... an absolutely precious person. Looking forward to seeing you again, Vickie! JESUS IS OUR SAVIOR
