Barry Morton Obituary

MORTON Barry Lee was born May 18, 1960 and was called home April 16, 2015. He was a hard working proud man. He retired from Calvary Baptist Church after over 20 years of service. He is preceded in death by his father Archie B. Morton and sister Wilma Jackson. He is survived by his loving mother Emma Lee Morton, daughter Ariel Barrtrice Morton, five sisters Deborah Overstreet, Carolyn (Sherman) (Morton, Sarah (Rev Calvin) Banks, Barbara (Vaughn) Ensley, Laverne Covington, two brothers Gregory (Sonya) Morton, and Furaqan (Zumma) Hakeem, two aunts Cora (Wallace) Robinson and Betty Morton, special cousin Charles (Butch) Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation Thursday, 11am-1pm. Funeral immediately following at Shiloh Baptist Church 237 E Fifth Street. Dr. Joseph Owens Pastor. Arr Smith & Smith.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Barry. i worked with him at Calvary for years . he always had a smile on him and liked to laugh alot. he was a good worker . he liked to talk about UK sports and fishing .he is now in a better place . he will be missed by all .
