My sympathies go with you and his family. I just found out while watching the news on the conviction of the drunk driver. I knew Brian from his days at Carl's Music. A great musician and friend. He will be missed.

God Bless,

To the Yankos,
I just learned of Brian's death upon learning of his mother's recent passing. As Brian's sister Amy's best friend in grade school, I had many sleep-overs at the Yanko household. Brian was the sweet big brother I never had; always patient with we kooky girls with the coolest record collection of anyone I knew. It was at the Yanko house I first heard The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's album (the album belonging, of course, to Amy's older Brian, who, as long as we were careful, never minded us playing his vinyls). I'm so glad he continued playing music because I also remember what a great saxophone player he was and how very serious he was about music in general.

I am so sorry about the senseless, inexplicable loss of this really nice guy. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Debbie,

It has been a long time since Pat and I have seen you, Brian and the girls. We are both saddened by this loss. In these sad times think of all the wonderful times you and Brian shared.

I know Brian had a lot of good friends, I always considered Brian my best friend. I think about the good times Brian and I had in high school. After graduation, I think about the time Brian and I spent together just spending time together. These are my memories and I will cherish them always. We were best friends and I miss him greatly.

Brian was a good man and he will always be in our memories.
