Cassandra Graves Obituary

GRAVES Cassandra Jolly, 59, died January 8, 2014 after a long illness in Frankfort, KY. She was born September 6, 1954 in Lexington, KY, the fourth child of Glenna and Jake Graves. A resident of the Stewart Home School in Frankfort, KY since 1986, she was a member of the last class of 1973 at Bryan Station High School, had worked at Second National Bank and was employed for a time by the FHI Company in Frankfort, KY. Jolly was also a Gold Medalist many times over in the Special Olympics. She is survived by her parents, Jake and Glenna Graves and her eight brothers and sisters; Jennie (Jerry) Clow, Jake Graves IV, Laura (Dee) Proctor, Melonie Graves, Andy (Margaret) Graves, Lucy (Logan) Foster, Ben Graves and Dan (Lambsy) Graves, as well as 22 nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:30am Monday, January 13, 2014 at Milward Man O' War with Rev. Dr. Michael Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7pm Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her brothers and sisters. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the members of the staff at The Stewart Home School for their love and dedication to Jolly. I really enjoyed sitting with Jolly, she became a dear friend to me and has a very special place and everyone's heart who got to know her. I loved spending time talking to her family and getting to know them, and learning more about Jolly. Jolly & her family are all very kind people and I hope to keep in tuch with them. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Grave family, I wish you all peace of mind and happiness in your memories of Jolly for that is what will keep her alive and all our hearts
