Uncle Charlie and I had so much fun when I was young. My mom, Shirley Taylor and I would spend lots of weekends and vacations with him and my wonderful godmother Aunt Betty. I loved going to the farm with him. Except the time he held my hand and touched the electric fence. Ok it was kind of funny. He laughed for what seemed like an hour. RIP Uncle Charlie and give my mom a hug for me.

Charles was like a brother to mom and dad (Dean and Kara Burkett) so he was like a uncle to me. He was always interested in what I was doing and we had many awesome conversations. What a gift to have had him in our life!
Thank you! Brad Burkett

Charles you were the best Director I ever had and like a brother to Dean. You remains a friend after I retired from Kentucky and moved to Tennessee. It was enjoyable to watch Lissa and Leigh Anne grew into beautiful young ladies. My thought and prayers are with your family.

Became friends with Charles and Betty many years ago when my then husband and I moved across the sidewalk from them at Salem Square apartments in Frankfort. We had such good times together as a couple and found ourselves playing with Lissa as a baby. My name then Pat Bailey and Bob Bailey. RIP our dear friend.
