Claudia Helton Obituary

Claudia Helton, 86, passed. She was born on October 25, 1931 in Stanton, KY to the late Hobert Housley and Barbara Ellen Watkins Reed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Leonard Helton; five brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren, Georgetta Lynn Jarman and David Vincent Jarman. She died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Princeton Health & Rehab in Princeton, KY. She retired from Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, KY and was a member of the First Church of God in Winchester, KY. Survivors include George (Ann) Helton of Cadiz, KY, Jean M. (James), Steweart of Nicholasville, KY, 5 grandchildren Cynthia (Mark) Carman, Sarah Helton, Tony W. Stewart, James E. Stewart, Jr., and Shaun M. (Susie) Stewart, and six great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at 1:30PM, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Kings Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ky, was in charge of the local funeral arrangements, and Betts and West Funeral Home officiated out of town arrangements.
