Jennifer,

I was so glad to have seen you at dinner while in Lexington last night, however, I was so saddened by your news. You are in my prayers, and I have sent a request to our church for a mass to be held in David's honor. I will send the information to you when the request is approved.

God bless your family.

Sincerely,

Donna Maria

Dear Jennifer and Family,

I can't begin to tell you how much I thought of Dave. He served on the LYPA board while I was president and was always so supportive. He laughed at me when I bought my BMW and told me I had just purchased the most expensive sled I would ever own. And boy was he right......he would call me on my cell when it was snowing and tell me to get that sled off the road. Dave was always so proud of you Jennifer and proud of the mother that you are. I know it will be hard, but we all know that Dave is in a better place.

I am shocked and saddened about the loss of David. I have wonderful memories of growing up in the neighborhood with him. He was such a funny, energetic, and playful person. He gave us all many laughs growing up. From everything I've read on his website, it sounds like he grew up to be a mature and caring young man, and a dedicated husband and father. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Bill,

I read where one of the others who signed this guest book had been thinking of you this weekend. The same happened with me. I had you and David on my mind quite a bit throughout the weekend. I'd decided to call you today to find out how things were going. Then I saw the obituaries.

I guess the best thing I can say is that your son isn't in pain anymore. I know the ones he's left behind are in a lot of pain, but I hope they can find some solace knowing that now, he is not.

I'm sure that there will be a lot of rejoicing when your family gets to see David again--not like you saw him a few days ago--but instead with a new and glorified body free from all sickness and suffering.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to be of help to you. My prayers will continue to be with you and David's family.
