Delia TRENT

TRENT Delia, 81 of Delphia, passed from this life on Sun, April 4, 2010 At the UK Medical Center. Delia is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ellen Gross Shepherd; son, Thomas Trent; brother, Colemen Eli; and sister, Ruth Hall. She is survived by her husband, William Trent; two daughters, Barbara Dixon, of Lexington, and Priscilla Hampton, of Paris, KY; two brothers, Robin Ray Shepherd, Delphia, and Richard Glen Shepherd, Shepherdsville, KY; three sisters, Ethel Woosley, Lexington, Laura Gilliam, Delphia, and Hattie Bryson, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation was held Tue, April 6, 2010 from 12-2pm at the First Baptist Church of Leatherwood with funeral services held at 2pm with the Rev. Eddie Williams officiating. Burial was held in the Whitaker Gross Cemetery at Delphia, KY. Tyler Johnson, Eric Hampton, Josh Hampton, Jonathan Trent, James Gilliam, and Jim Halcomb served as pallbearers. Tri City Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
